The VXSCAN V4 automotive smoke leak detector and vacuum smoke machine. It tests the crankcase where pressure or corrosion is the main cause, the intake system where a leak starves the engine, car sealing, the fuel tank and piping, turbo pipework, brake, power steering and cooling hoses, the EVAP system where a leak lets fuel vapour escape, and the exhaust. Output is adjusted on the top knob, and it ships from the US or UK.

• Crankcase System Test: Excessive pressure or corrosion of the crankcase is the main reason to damage the seal of the crankcase and cause oil leakage.
• Intake System Test: Leakage in the air intake system will lead to insufficient intake of the car engine, which will result in scant engine power.

• Exhaust System Test: Unpurified harmful gases to be discharged into the atmosphere or increase vehicle noise is the main disadvantage when leaks happened in the exhaust.
• Adjustment method: Turn the top knob left to decrease, and turn right to increase. It is necessary to block the smoke outlet to confirm the actual value of the output pressure, which is the highest test pressure set.

• 1.Fill 10ml-20ml test oil into the detector.
• 2.Disconnect the intake pipe of the car and connect it to the detector.
• 3.Connect detector with DC12V battery, it starts to work.
• 4.The pipe will be filled with smoke. Check the leak points.
