Description
An airtightness detector for EV battery packs. Compressed air pressurises the pack cavity and a high sensitivity sensor watches for pressure loss, which tells you whether the seal is sound.
This test belongs at the end of any battery or module repair, before the pack goes back in. A pack that is not sealed will take water on a wet road, and water in a pack means shorted circuits.
Capability
- Presets battery pack parameters
- Compressed air pressure test of the pack cavity
- High sensitivity sensor reads pressure change to judge sealing
