Description
New Genius talks to the engine control unit over serial, through the vehicle OBD-II socket or through a specific diagnostic connector. It does the whole job on its own, with no PC or laptop needed to manage the communication.
The screen carries the operator through each step, so the sequence is fixed rather than left to memory. That is the argument for it over a laptop-driven tool when the work is done in the field.
Capability
- Serial communication with the vehicle ECU
- Connection through the OBD-II socket or specific diagnostic connectors
- Programming of the vehicle stock ECU
- Stand-alone operation with no personal computer or laptop
- Step by step on-screen instructions during programming
In the box
- 1 x Dimsport New Genius programming device
