Module 40 clears the ISN held in a BMW 8HP gearbox EGS on the bench, which is what a used or swapped gearbox needs before it will pair with a different car.
Check what you already own before ordering the full module. If you have Modules 11, 19 and 36, only the A505 license is needed, and that is sold here as a separate option.
