Yanhua JLR KVM Soldering Toolkit Full Package Solder New JLR KVM RFA MCU Easy Soldering Tool for JLR 2018+

A soldering kit assembled for one job: lifting and refitting the CPU on the KVM and RFA modules of Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles from 2018 onward. Yanhua builds it to work alongside ACDP Module 24, the New JLR 2018+ IMMO module.

The kit includes a practice board, so the CPU removal and resolder can be rehearsed before touching a customer module. That matters here, because the RFA MCU sits under three proof conformal coating that has to be stripped first.

What the kit does

• KVM chip limit board, to fix the position of the CPU chip on the KVM module
• Height adjustment between the air gun and the chip
• Chip sucker, for lifting chips that need to be removed
• Solder paste brush and flux, to help chips solder better
• Clamp for holding the PCB limit board
• Tool for removing the triple protection paint from the chip
• Treatment for the peeled three proof paint
• Tweezers for picking up chips heated by the air gun
• Fixture for holding the KVM practice board or the original car KVM board
• Solder for replenishing the pads
• Wick for cleaning excess solder
• Heating of the KVM chip
• Holder for fixing and adjusting the hot air gun
