Description
A Grade 2 commercial duty passage lever, model AUG-30-26D, in a satin chrome finish over zinc. It is ADA compliant and non handed, so one unit fits a left or a right hand door, and it suits standard 161 door prep with a 2-1/8 inch bore.
Specifications
- ADA COMPLIANT & NON-HANDED DESIGN: Fully ADA compliant for barrier-free accessibility. Non-handed lever fits both left- and right-swing doors, simplifying installation and making it a versatile choice for new construction or retrofit projects.
- FITS STANDARD COMMERCIAL DOORS: Designed for standard 161 door prep with a 2-1/8″ bore. Fits doors 1-3/8″ to 1-3/4″ thick and includes a UL 3-hour fire-rated 2-3/4″ backset latch (optional 2-3/8″ backset sold separately).
Also stated by the supplier
- AUG-30-26D Grade 2 Commercial Duty Passage Lever, ADA, Satin Chrome Finish
- Material Zinc
- Color Satin Chrome
- Product Dimensions 4"L x 2"W
- COMMERCIAL GRADE 2 DURABILITY: ANSI Grade 2 certified for dependable performance in hallways, closets, and common areas where no locking is required. Heavy-duty internal springs and a reinforced zinc alloy lever body ensure smooth, consistent operation and long-lasting durability under frequent daily use.
- PASSAGE FUNCTION LEVER: Both exterior and interior levers remain unlocked at all times, allowing free passage without keys or locking. Ideal for hallways, closets, conference rooms, and other interior doors where secure locking is not needed but durability matters.
- COMPLETE INSTALLATION KIT INCLUDED: Box includes privacy lever, thru bolts, strike plate, latch, dust box, screw packs, mounting template, and instructions. Optional through-bolt installation helps prevent lever sag, while the satin chrome finish delivers a clean, professional appearance.
A passage lever has no lock, so it latches the door without securing it. That is what makes it right for a corridor or a store room and wrong for an office door.
