Description
An adapter for recovering chip data from 5C and 5D keys that are water damaged or physically broken. When the key is beyond saving, the data on it usually is not.
It is a bench job and it needs a soldering iron. The chip has to come off the original key's board and onto the adapter, so this is not a plug in and read tool.

How it is used
- Dismantle the original smart key and desolder the NCF29Ax chip from its board
- Solder the chip onto the KD 13# adapter board
- Connect the board to a KD-X4
- In the KD app, go to Remote Function, then Smart Key Clone, then Universal Smart Key Synchronization to read the chip
