VNCI

A diagnostic interface is the box between the vehicle and the software. What it supports decides what the software can reach, and newer vehicles have moved to CAN FD and DoIP, which older interfaces cannot speak at all.

VNCI interfaces are built to work with manufacturer software rather than a generic app, so check which brand and which software version a listing covers before ordering.
