Infiniti follows Nissan practice, so the keys share profiles and immobiliser families with the wider group rather than standing alone. What decides the key is the model year and whether the car uses a bladed key, a flip remote or a proximity smart key.

Cutting is only part of the job. Anything with a transponder has to be programmed to the car, and a smart key has to be registered to the immobiliser as well. Check the part number on the original before ordering.
