About British Vehicles Key Blanks

British cars of the classic era used a small set of key profiles, most of them from Lucas or Wilmot Breeden, and the same blank often served several marques. That works in your favour: identifying the profile matters far more than identifying the car it came from.

Where the original key survives, the profile code is usually stamped on the bow. Take that code rather than the model name, since the same model was frequently built with more than one lock supplier across its production run.
